About Zilliqa
Zilliqa (ZIL) is the native token of the blockchain with the same name. Zilliqa is centered around the idea of "Sharding" and was designed to enhance the scalability of cryptocurrency networks such as Ethereum. Using Sharding transactions are divided into smaller groups for miners to perform parallel transactional verification. This results in reaching consensus more quickly, which increases the number of transactions in a given period.
